Overcometh…

This morning God woke me early to pray and read. You need to prepare for the day ahead, He then lead me to the book of 1 John. I began reading it and before I realized it I had finished the entire 5 chapters. Tonight, I went back through the entire book. I got to the end and found great hope in chapter 5 verse 4, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” There is a lot to shout about in that verse and I hope it lifts you up as much as it did me. The whole book of 1 John is full of encouraging nuggets and rich with wisdom for these difficult days. I just wanted to share a glimmer of it with you.
