Names of God: El Hakabodh

El Hakabodh is God of Glory. As I was reading about this name for God Psalms 24:8-10 kept coming to my mind, “Who is the King of glory…” I had a mentally and emotionally difficult day. There just wasn’t enough hours in it and half way through I received a text that literally knocked the air out from me. It threw me back into a place I didn’t want to go. A place I’d walked away from, but one I was still healing from. I was completely frozen and prayed throughout the afternoon as how to respond or not respond. As I continued pressing hard through my work load, I looked up and there were two robins playing in a puddle of water. Just chirping and playing so happily. Who is the King of glory? El Hakabodh, if you look around you will see His wondrous glory everywhere. You will see it in the sunsets and sunrises. You will hear it in the crashing waves, pouring rain, and thunder. His glory carries in the wind, you see it throughout nature. His glory became flesh through Jesus. He showed me His glory today when I felt overwhelmed and spoke to me through two robins in a puddle. Verse 9 of Psalms 24 says, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” I sure needed that visit from our God of Glory today, all you have to do is ask Him in and He will visit you too. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
