A lot of people expect hard times to stop the moment you are saved. Others expect the person who finds God to immediately change. The Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out. Some of us, yes the “saved” folk, still have demons that have to be cast out. A lot of times change is a continual progression. What God does promise is he will not leave us alone in the darkness. The Holy Spirit is a light within us that never leaves us. Once saved, we need to press into Him and pray for wisdom through any darkness.
