Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 1, 2023

It is well with my soul. Apostle Faith is known for saying “it is well”. I can be getting hit in every direction and she will say, “It is well.” When I read today’s passage it got me in the heart. This lady’s son lay dead. Verse 27 tells us her soul was vexed within her, yet when ask, “[Is it] well with thee? [is it] well with thy husband? [is it] well with the child?” She answered, “It is well.” It was anything but well in the physical realm. Her son was dead. She sought out the man of God, Elisha, who had prayed for and then they were blessed with a child, to call upon God to save that child. All was well because this miracle God had given them could not possibly be dead. It had to be well in the spirit realm and would soon manifest in the physical realm. It goes on to say how Elisha laid on him, breathing into him, and praying and he became warm again. It was indeed well.

How many of us are facing “dead” situations? The Holy Spirit Himself can and will breath the life of God into those dead situations. They shall be one warm again and His wisdom will guide you through the murky, high waters. Start saying “it is well” through every situation and watch as they come back to life. Say it is well, because my friends it is well! 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, [Is it] well with thee? [is it] well with thy husband? [is it] well with the child? And she answered, [It is] well. 27 And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul [is] vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid [it] from me, and hath not told me.” ~ 2 Kings 4:26-27
