I felt this verse deep in my spirit as I read it. There are people in this very time that don’t want to hear the truth. There are also “prophets” who are all too eager to give the people what they want and sugar coat the prophetic word given. It grieves my heart to think of how this grieves the heart of God. When HE gives a word, that word should be conveyed without it being polluted by self. People can’t go to soothsayers either, they are not of God. The time in which we live is so evil. When a word is spoken over you, be careful of the source. Ask God to confirm it to you. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Seek God earnestly and He will answer you, even if the truth hurts. He does things for our good and to His glory.
