I felt this verse deep in my spirit. If we draw close to God, He will draw close to us. Any distance there may be from Him is not on His part but ours. Every morning I pray for God to cleanse my heart and mind. I don’t want to think like the old me. I don’t want to be one of those people who speak one thing only to make excuses to do another. There are no excuses. Being double minded will not draw you closer to God. He sees all and knows all, There is nothing we can hide from Him. If you are struggling with something, anything, tell Him about it. Ask Him for forgiveness and help to overcome it and I promise you He will.
