I listened for a long time this afternoon as someone shared their upset with several situations. As the person was talking, I began to reflect on being a “Christian.” Claiming to be a Christian does not mean you are being Christ like. You can go to church every Sunday and read the Word of God daily but it still does not mean you are being Christ like in action. We often hear, what would Jesus do but seriously, are you doing as Jesus would do? Today’s passage says there are those that have a form of godliness. A form of is not enough, it says having a form of godliness, but denying the power there of. Lord help us. It then instructs us to turn away from such people. No one is perfect, I completely get that. However, are you working towards being Christ like? Are you producing Christ like fruit? It is something to chew on. I want to have everything God plans for me. I want to walk in His perfect will for my life. I want to walk into my Kingdom destiny. Have I fallen, yes. Have I repented and got back up, absolutely. Do you have a form of godliness or are you all in? Father God, I’m all in. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
