I sat this evening thinking on this verse. God is not in darkness in any kind of way. If you have to sneak and hide whatever your doing, if you have to ask others to lie, God’s just not in it. It may surprise many, but God isn’t the only one that blesses. The devil wraps things in pretty bow and makes things appear as a blessing that God is not even in. It saddens my heart and grieves my spirit to know the mass deception people, yes even God’s people, fall into. It’s so important to really examine our hearts and quiet our minds as we seek God to the source of the “blessing.” So many are led astray. If it grieves my spirit, I can only imagine what it does to our Father. All things done in dark will come to light and really, if you are doing it in the dark is it really from God?
