What a wondrous God we serve. A dear brother sent me today’s verse this morning. I told him I thought I’d use it for my blog today. As the day progressed, my day became difficult. I took the dogs out this evening before rereading today’s Scripture. I saw a small dove on one side of the house. It was not moved by my voice as I talked to it. I went around to the other side of the back yard to take pictures of the neighbor’s sunflowers and noticed a second dove facing the house. I went further around the house and saw a third dove facing the house. I had not seen doves in so long until this morning, one was below my feeder. You are not alone daughter, you are not alone. Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.
I came back in and a light bulb switched on as I reread today’s passage. The Lord is my help. Because He is my help I shall NOT be confounded (nor shall I be moved in any way). The pain I feel MUST go in the name of Jesus. The anxiety trying to consume me MUST go by the blood of Jesus. Anything in this home that is not of God MUST go in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord my God will help me, no more worry! Flint is a very hard, dark rock. I will set my face as flint and pursue mightily the things God has for me and my family. Glory hallelujah, I give praise to my mighty God! Are you going through something that seems impossible with the natural eyes? Ask God to show it to you through spiritual eyes.
