I opened my Bible to today’s passage this morning. I had a terrible headache and I sat in my work recliner and just meditated on it. Elijah sought the mantle of Elisha. When Elisha ask him to tarry somewhere, he said I will not and he followed him. Before being taken up, Elisha ask Elijah what he wanted him to do with him. He said, “let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.” He wanted it. He believed he could receive this. He followed after Elisha faithfully and wanting a double portion of his spirit. After Elisha was taken up, his mantle fell upon Elijah. What do you want from God? Ask Him and believe, you will receive it. He has mantles for us all to pick up.
