Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 6, 2023

The lord has really been speaking to me about forgiveness and not just forgiveness, but letting go of the offense that caused me pain. I often hear, I can forgive but I can’t forget. God reminded me that when Jesus died for us and we come to Him for forgiveness, He forgives and completely wipes our sins away. He doesn’t forgive and then say, I forgive you but I’m going to keep in mind those things you did. No, He forgives completely and washes the offense away. That can be hard y’all. I get it. I forgive but then the devil creeps in with the what if’s. What if they do it again, what if you look like an idiot for forgiving them, what if… What if we fall, does Jesus not pick us back up? What if we mess up, how does that make Jesus feel? His grace and mercy never ends. Why should ours not be the same? 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” ~ Ephesians 4:31-32
