I was again praying for a passage for today when God led me to today’s. Man, it is an on-time word for this season and for the things troubling my heart. When we come to God, there is a heart change. You don’t always see it instantly in people, but you begin to notice changes. The Holy Spirit doesn’t condemn but He does convict. We are called to be holy as Christ is holy. You might say, I’m only human, I’m going to fall. You are covered by grace and given mercy when you fall. BUT, you cannot remain in a perpetual state of sin and claim to be saved at the same time. God lifts you up out of the sin but you have the free will to stay out. You put on the armor of God DAILY. You change your circle to brothers and sisters that can lift you up. You attend church to be refilled. You must do you part, but God won’t force you to do it. It breaks my heart to see Christians fall back to a place worse than they came out of. It hurts my heart even more when it affects those they love. I talk about it so much because it’s important, you must renew your mind daily! Examine your heart before God daily.
