I lay and contemplated today’s passage for a while. I am currently going through one of the hardest times of my life. This is made worse by scheming people full of foul spirits. Sadly not everyone is the person they portray to be. Sometimes my heart is too good… is that possible? It makes me a target, easier to be taken advantage of. However, it also makes it easier for the love and light of God to shine through. No, my heart is not too good or too soft, we live in a cruel world under the control of the devil himself. The world needs more kind and loving hearts. I don’t have to spend time worrying about the darts thrown at me because today’s passage says they will not proposer. Those cruel words that cut like a knife will be condemned. This is our heritage as children of God. Heritage is a special or individual possession; an allottedportion. This is our portion from the Lord. I won’t hold back on my heart and I’ll pray for those who try to wound it. They need Jesus and my light for Jesus is going to keep shining in the hopes of penetrating their dark souls. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” ~ Isaiah 54:17
