Corporate Fast, Starting 1/1/24

I’d like to invite you on a 40 day corporate fast with me beginning tomorrow. The first time I did a corporate fast was with Pastor Jentezen Franklin’s church online. I had done fast before but this time was different. I was different. This time my fasting came from a humble and sincere heart. God opened up His Spirit upon me in the most amazing way. It was during that fast that I received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues in a little mountain church on a Colorado mountain. This year, I am in a church who does the new year corporate fast. I was excited and blessed to hear this. Some of you may not have a church who participates in corporate fasting, some may have never fasted at all, but sometimes fasting is an essential part of our Christian walk. Matthew 17:21 says, “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Fasting together allows us to encourage one another on the journey and I promise you it is a journey that you won’t forget. ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
