Today’s passage seems to instruct us to do just the opposite of the world. It tells us to bless those who persecute us and not to curse them. This can seem hard when arrows are flying at us, but God takes care of His children. We should pray for them. God’s wrath is so much greater than ours could ever be and I never want to see anyone on that side of things. Pray for God’s mercy, pray for a heart change. Poppa help me to pray for those very people coming for me. Place them on my heart to pray for them and never curse them. Help me to be a humble, gracious woman of prayer.
