It’s so easy to let anger take control but it is important to take that anger to the Lord. Like so many emotions, anger can consume you. It can fester and grow into unforgiveness. Today’s passage reminds us not to avenge ourselves but to give place to wrath. Vengeance comes from God. Only His shoulders are big enough to take on anger. It will destroy us leading to bitterness and so many doors that hinder our relationship with God. Give it to Him and pray for those that have hurt or angered you.
