The very first sentence in today’s passage “And these signs shall follow them that believe…” tells us the signs that follow those who believe. The words that follow tell us the power we have as believers. These are not reserved for preachers, prophets, or apostles. No, we as believers have the power to do these things in the name of Jesus. In His name, we can cast out devils, speak in new tongues, take up serpents, drink any deadly thing and not be hurt, and to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It’s time to walk in the authority Jesus has given us. Right now, today, the enemy is raging. He knows his time is near and he also knows the authority we’ve been given and will do anything to prevent us from walking in it.
