Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 11, 2024

I sat for a bit pondering on today’s passage. Man’s wisdom. How man puts his twist on things and how he interprets things often comes from a selfish place in his heart. One has to really lean into the Word of God and seek HIS wisdom and we need to do it with a pure heart. How do we do that one might ask? We pray. We pray and ask Gods to filter things through His eyes. To allow us to glean from His wisdom. This involves being willing to leave self at the door. My faith rest firmly in the power of God. It rest firmly in His Word. Not a twisted version, but in His Word and leaning into Him for the wisdom to discern the words I read. I also trust Him not to allow me to be mislead by anyone who perverts it and in turn leads His flock astray. We have a responsibility to seek Him and share what HE has gleaned with us. Help us Poppa. Help us to come to you with pure hearts and hands cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear what saith the Lord in Jesus’ name, Amen. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“4 And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” ~ 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
