God never ceases to amaze me. I usually plan my Nourishment scriptures on Saturday or Sunday for the week ahead. Time and time again, God gives me a verse or someone reading this a verse just when they need it most. Today was once again the Scripture my heart needed right now. We can hear the Word of God, but not absorb it. We can hear it but not allow it to take root and when the storms come, it departs from us. The storms pounds and leaves us in ruin instead of being more strongly rooted in God.
This has been a hard week. Court the last two mornings, court the next two days to come, and a meeting with my lawyer today. My lawyer, did I just have to say that?! I said Poppa, I’m falling apart with tears in my eyes. He said you’re not falling apart daughter, you’re falling into place. My spirit was lifted despite the pain in my heart. God is so good. We just need to lean harder into Him and listen for His voice to guide us. It doesn’t matter what you are going through child of God, He’s got you! Press harder into Him.
