Our gracious loving Father gave His only Son to save everyone from their sins. He will not force the gift of salvation on you, you must accept it. Next you have to be willing to yield yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow changes within you to take place. My daily prayer is less of me Lord and more of you. Many reject that gift. Others accept it but then they do not allow the Word of God to take root in their hearts and they fall away. The Lord preserves those that love Him. Today’s passage clearly says He will destroy the wicked. You can’t be hiding secret sins and think the Lord doesn’t see them or He will make an exception for them. Sin is sin and its root is in wickedness. We are to repent of our sins and turn to God. If there is a sin you struggle with, deliverance will set you free.
