Life can sure throw you some hard balls, lots of curve balls too. There are times the ball hits us and knocks the very breath from us. I’m thankful that during those times we have a Heavenly Father who we can retreat to. Sometimes it’s just to catch our breath, others it is to pour our hearts out and to rest our weary souls. He never turns us away. He shelters us and loves us. His truth is our shield. I’ve had a lot of those weary days for some time now. I’m thankful He doesn’t turn me away but soothes my hurting soul. He’s promised better days ahead and I know He is not a God that lies. The storms won’t last forever but I’m thankful to serve a God that holds me close while they rage. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
