I read a post this morning that just broke my heart. I’ve seen so many of the children of God struggling this year in a multitude of ways. We do not have to go through those things alone. There is a way to find comfort through the storm. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit who makes intercession for us. Today’s passage is a reminder that even when our heart melts for heaviness, we can be strengthened according to God’s Words.
Ephesians 6:17 tells us to take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. In His Word we find a roadmap for life. It also contains Scripture after Scripture that will lift us when we are down, encourage us on our journey, and strengthen us along the way. Is your heart feeling heavy? I would like you to encourage you to bury yourself in the Word, to pray, and allow the Holy Spirit to make intercession for you.
If you do not have your own prayer language (speaking in tongues) pray for it. It is a game changer! It confounds the enemy with prayers he can’t understand. These are some of the most powerful prayers you will pray. I am praying for everyone who reads this.
