I was thinking about a conversation I had that reminded me of the of the “clicks” in school and how painful they were for many. We expect for the clicks to come to an end once we are in the grownup world. We don’t expect to grow up and find them in the adult world. We never thought we’d see them in the workplace and we certainly didn’t expect to see them in the church.
Gossip is not of God. You can’t put a nice neat label on it and think God doesn’t see it for what it really is. For those people, God sees the heart. To those who don’t fit in, draw closer to God. We were not made to fit in. We are a chosen generation. We are a peculiar people. Peculiar is strange or odd; unusual. It is particular; special. Again, we were not made to fit in. When you have a high calling on your life, it comes with a high price.
God told me a long time ago that my circle would be small. God does not lie. I have watched my circle get smaller than I ever thought possible. If you find your circle shrinking and if you find your heart breaking because you don’t fit in, throw your hands up in praise. Precious child of God you were not made to fit in and God is moving people out as He elevates you in Him. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” ~ 1 Peter 2:9
