Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: October 28, 2024

The Spirit of the Lord came in the midst of the people in verse 14. He told them not to be afraid or even dismayed by the great multitude against them because the battle was not theirs but God’s. That really got me to thinking as I pondered today’s passage. How many battles do we pick up that aren’t ours to fight? How many things do we carry that aren’t even ours to carry? So much stress and worry over things out of our control. But God! His shoulders are big enough for anything we may face. Sometimes He shows up for those battles so that people can see His glory as he conquers the giants before us. What are you trying to face alone that the Lord wants you to fight for you? Take a look at the things you are facing. Is the battle yours? Or is it a but God moment that He wants to bring victory over that thing you can’t do on your own? We serve a But God! But we need to move out of His way so he can show up and show out for us. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
