When I did some research into today’s verse, I sat in awe contemplating it. The people will make a noise like a rushing water. BUT GOD will rebuke them. We are living in a time where people are making a fuss everywhere you look. This will likely get worse through election season. I also thought about our enemies coming at us with much noise. We don’t have to meet them either same rigor. We have a God that can step in and cause them to flee. I think sometimes we have so much coming at us, we forget we have a God that is powerful and protective of His children. One word and He can push the enemy back. I also pondered His rebuke. I would not want to see that side of God directed at me. I started thinking about people dying and not knowing Him. We are not promised tomorrow. So many put it off thinking they have time and still want to live in their sins, it’s more fun. That is a scary road to be on. The best thing I ever did was give my life to God. I don’t miss the things of the world and I don’t regret it for one second. The people raged, but God!
