I had a Dr.’s appointment earlier in the week. As we went to it and coming back home, God highlighted the trees that had just a few leaves hanging on to them to me. The trees were almost bare. So many beautiful leaves were drifting through the air. The leaves still on the branches seemed to be hanging on, just twisting and toiling in the wind. It was as if they were fighting hard to stay on their branches when there was so much beauty in letting go and being carried by the wind. The Lord said that’s you, hanging on for dear life when I’ve called you to let go. Wow. Help me Poppa to let go and walk completely in Your will and obedience to you.
What are you hanging onto that God has ask you to release? Who are you holding onto that God has ask you to let go of?Are there memories you keep playing in your head? The Lord is saying it is time to close that chapter . It’s time to put away that book. He’s not just starting a new chapter in your life, He is creating an entirely new book. Obedience is the key. Listen for His voice. It contains the wisdom you will need. New chapters are up ahead in a book He has opened for this season of your life. Get ready He will do it as you listen to His instruction.
