Man, I felt today’s passage. There is so much power in fasting. It was fasting that gave me the gift of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. A gift that is so necessary and truly needed. When God calls you to a fast, I encourage you to do it. It does just what today’s verse says, it loose the bands of wickedness, undos heavy burdens, sets the oppressed free, and breaks every yoke. If you want to see breakthrough, seek God about a fast. It sets captives free and shifts the atmosphere. Fasting should be an important part of every Christian’s life. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
