I have had a lot going on in my life and still have so much left to deal with alone after the crumbling of my marriage. Thanksgiving (last year) was the last holiday we spent together. My mind has blocked out so much, but I do not remember it being a happy one but one filled with tension. My mind keeps going back to that place, then it will shift to the taxes I owe, and so many other hard things I now face alone. Then I read today’s passage and reread it. God will keep me in perfect peace when my mind is fixed on Him. His peace will flood my soul when I place my complete trust in Him. I’m finding more and more that as I listen to His urging, eyes straight forward, eyes on Me daughter, that His perfect peace will wash over me. Eyes straight forward, eyes fixed on my Father is what gets me through the difficult times. Remembering this pushes me out of my memories and into trusting my Father. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
