Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: December 6, 2024

What a timely word for me today. Most know I was recently divorced and was freed from a narcissistic marriage. Evaluating past relationships, narcissists seem to be drawn to me and me to them. My brothers keep telling me you have to stop trying to fix people. Indeed, this is something only God can do. With lots of prayer and God’s guidance I have started to recognize narcissistic people. Gaslighting is one of their biggest techniques and I will never again allow that to be used against me. I know who I am, whose I am, and I now walk with that knowledge boldly.

Today’s passage was a needed reminder for me. It’s all about the condition of your heart. A GOOD man out of the GOOD treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is GOOD. Subsequently, an EVIL man out of the EVIL treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is EVIL. It’s a heart condition, for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. You can speak eloquently and have evil hid in your heart. You can offer to help others with evil hid behind the kindness. With a narcissist, they become very angry when you do not bend the way they are trying to move you. Do not bend. Seek God and allow Him to fill you with wisdom and guide your every move. Not everyone placed in your path is there to bless you. Ask for discernment. What spirit do they have over them? What demons operate through them? What kind of activities do they indulge in behind closed doors? What do the treasures of their heart really contain. Oh my how it matters. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” ~ Luke 6:45
