This is a heavy Scripture. Many people will wake in hell by following the road of good intentions. Many will follow the road of once saved always saved regardless of how they live. There was a time when I was such a person and I was headed straight for hell. But God! He brought me to a place where I was not just on my knees before Him but laying on the ground. He met me at that place and lifted me up. I have not always made the right decisions since that day but God never quit on me. He always showed me what was right and then told me, daughter never again will you stray. you will listen to My voice and walk in the calling I have on your life. What Lord? Calling? He would continue to show me so many things. But God, I’m too old, I do not know enough… but God. His plan is greater than our own and He plans out every detail! I am thankful He turned my life around.
Where are you today with the Lord? What is the condition of your soul? It matters my friends, it matters. God’s Word tells us, “[Matthew 7:21-23 KJV] 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Don’t be one of those people.
