Today’s passage is my favorite Scripture. Too often I try to do things in my own strength and the Lord has to remind me it is not by my might but through His Spirit and His strength that the harder things in my life are done. Our shoulders were not meant to carry the weight of the world. We are to cast whatever is weighing us down at the foot of the cross and He will handle them. Once we give those things to Him, we are to leave them there. Too often I try to pick them back up. I have learned through Apostle Faith that in my calling I tend to carry the weight of those I am to minister to. That is not mine to carry. I need to give those things to the Lord and allow me to be the vessel He uses. I am a work in progress and so thankful my Father is patient in seeing His will be done in my life. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” ~ Zechariah 4:6
