Depression can be a hard force to defeat. But God. Today’s passage is a perfect picture of how God’s light arises in the darkness. His light draws you out of the darkness of depression. He doesn’t stop at just bringing you out of it. He is gracious and full of the compassion you need at that specific moment in time. He catches those tears, He addresses your fears. He absorbs the loneliness and pain. He tells you that you are His and wipes away any shame.
