Who you spend your time with, who you trust matters. The Lord has been confirming this to me. I was reminded again as I am reading the Book of Job. Job had lost everything and his “friends” came to him and were not at all comforting, they were more condemning. In today’s passage, Job questions his friends. “How long all ye vex my soul.” He actually said their words were breaking him into pieces. Words have power! They can speak things over us that we need to reject in the spirit realm. Do not come in agreeance with them, send those words to the cold dry places and speak life over yourself.
We find in verse 3 that Job said these friends became strangers to him. God keeps weeding people out of my circle and it hurts. Have Your way Lord. Do what’s good for me, not what feels good. He told me clearly again today (and had confirmed in Sunday’s service), not everyone can go where I’m taking you. Not everyone can walk with you in this season. Stop holding on to people God has told you to release. I hear You Lord. I hear You. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? 3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed [that] ye make yourselves strange to me.” ~ Job 19:23
