Nourishment for Your Spirit, Soul, & Mind: 1/29/25

Last night I could hear Medea screaming in my head, “Let them go!”. I pulled up my Bible app and began reading about letting go. Today’s passage really hit home. We are told to forget those things that are behind us and to reach forth to the things before us. I sat reflecting on 2024. I think it was possibly the hardest year in my 51 years of life. There are some things my Father is telling me I have to let go. With tears streaming, I said oh Poppa must I? Some people and things are seasonal in our lives. I truly believe God places them in our paths for a reason. As I press toward the mark for the high prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus in my life, I am reminded my circle is small for a reason. Not everyone can go with you to that next level and it’s okay. It doesn’t mean you don’t love them, it means that season has ended. There is purpose in that pain. Keep your eyes fixed on God and He will make beauty from ashes. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 3:13-14
