I had a mini breakdown today where fear tried to come rushing in on me. Where worry tried to swallow me up. Poppa, I can only handle so much I cried. I felt like the weight of the world was crushing down on me. The list of things doesn’t even matter. What matters is God meeting me at that moment when I felt like I was drowning. Oh daughter, it is I the Lord your God that goes before you. It is I that prepares the way for you. You do not face one battle, one sickness that I did not know you would face. When the waves hit, they are not meant to knock you over, they are not to steal the air from your lungs. No daughter, they are to make that faith you seek stronger. They are to force you to retreat into Me from wince your help comes. They are so your faith becomes so strong and your testimony will be magnified so all that know you, all that will know you will see what I have done for you and know I can do it for them too.
Glory hallelujah. That is what brought me to today’s passage. Things are sure to come against us in this life, BUT do not fear or be dismayed, the Lord our God has already gone before us. He will not fail or forsake us. He created this world by speaking it into existence. It was void, nothing there until He breathed on it. I don’t know your situation or what you face but I do know the God who can and will make a way out of no way! Child of God, draw unto Him. There can be no fear in a child of God. Cast that fear out, it is a lie from the devil. It is an illusion to cause worry. God has you, stand on those promises and send the devil on his way. God has you, this I don’t just say.
