I read today’s passage last night. Many translations say there are many plans in man’s heart. I was looking over my own life. My plans do not even begin to compare to God’s plan for my life. We have to get to a place in our own personal life where God’s plans and His will for our lives become our plans. The two mirror each other. We will not be fully at peace if we are straying from God’s plans.
Well, you might ask, how do we know God’s plans? That comes through a personal relationship with Him. Time in prayer and His Word are important, but you must also listen for his voice, watch for confirmation that He will give. It could come in the sky, nature, even Facebook. The morning (for me) is the best place to meet my Poppa. To pray and listen for His voice. The closer we grow to God, the more His ways become ours.
