I posted Jeremiah 29:11 earlier in the week when a precious brother added today’s passage in the comments. So often we stop reading verse 11, but the two verses that follow are just as awesome. When we call upon Him, He will harken unto us. Harken is to listen attentively, obey, or respond to what is heard. How awesome is that?! He goes on to tell us when we seek Him, we will find Him when we search with all of our hearts.
WOW! We have a God who not only listens but acts on those prayers we pray. How could you not want to seek a God who cares so much for His children?! I am humbled to be a daughter of THE King. I am humbled that He listens to me. He hears my heart and even my tears when I come to him unable to speak. God not only knew the plans He had for me but all the twists and turns my life would take (many due to my own flesh) and He hears me still. Tonight as I look back over my life, my heart overflows with thankfulness. I am blessed to be a child of the most high God. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
