Nourishment for Your Spirit, Soul, & Mind: 3/5/25

Most of the time we hear the last part of today’s passage, “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We need to also take a look at the beginning of this passage, “… choose you this day whom you will serve…” Those in the world are serving the devil. We are in the world but not a part of the world. We are set apart. That is something to really meditate on. You may say, I choose the Lord. Are your actions meeting the words you speak? Are you harboring secret sins? Are you putting people or things above God? Do you go along with the sin of the world. Please remember just because something is legal in man’s eyes it does not make it okay in the Lord’s eyes. We are living in the end days. Jesus is coming back and we need to have our hearts right with Him. Don’t push it off saying I’ll get right later. Friends, that later may never come. It’s important to seek the Lord daily, to renew our minds daily, to repent daily. Why? Because tomorrow may never come. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” ~ Joshua 24:15
