I was hit hard with an attack from the devil this evening. It came as I was preparing for the weeks ahead and instruction God had given me. I sat on my bed weeping over things I’m not even going into because after several minutes of this I recognized it as an attack from the enemy and they were all lies. The devil is not at all original. He knows the things we struggle with and he will attack them continuously. This makes it critical to stay vigilant. As the tears dried, I said boy he sure isn’t original is he? He is able to twist things just enough to make you believe his lies. Not today devil, not today. His plan was to stop the plans God had put on my heart. I immediately thought of today’s passage. I got it out and reread it. There is no truth in him. Sadly, many people are the same. This made my heart sad for them. I am thankful God showed me that today’s attack was a poor attempt on the slithering devil himself. I’m pressing on with and in God.
