Just before today’s passage the disciples were unable to cast out an unclean spirit. God told them unbelief caused it, but He went in to say that kind could only be cast out through prayer and fasting. Fasting is rarely preached on in most churches, but is crucial part of our Christian walk.
Today’s passage clearly tells us there are some spirits we needed delivered from and it is only going to come from prayer AND fasting. God has some things He wants to birth from you. But they require prayer and fasting. Fasting allows us to die to flesh and open the door to breakthrough. Do you feel stuck in a place, perhaps, you need your hear from God? Seek Him as to the fast He chooses for you and then do it. You will see fresh fire and break through raining down. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
