Today’s passage reminds us faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. What are you listening to, who are you listening to? This is really important because what we listen to can build our faith on knock it down. What you allow your ears to hear matters. Are you listening to music that glorifies God and encourages faith or are you listening to songs that weigh your spirit down? Are you reading God’s Word that will solidify your faith or articles or books that make you lose hope. What sermons do you listen to, are they rooted in the Word of God? How you foster your faith by what you allow in your ears and how much time you spend in the Word of God can make all the difference in how your faith increases or hits a low.
