My spirit had been vexed over something I had heard several days ago. I had a deep conversation with Pastor Michelle last night about it. I had looked up and studied several verses and she confirmed the same verses. I was thankful that the Lord used her to confirm what I knew and what God had confirmed to me.
Today’s verse has a meaningful purpose. The tearing (or renting) of the veil gives a new way to communicate with our Father. In the old days, a prophet would hear from God and communicate with the people. They could not go to the Father themselves. Once the veil tore God’s children were able to pray directly to Him.
When Jesus left, He left us the Holy Spirit to comfort us and to make intercession when we cannot do so for ourselves. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are 3 in one. We have the privilege to take things to our Father in prayer and He not only hears us but responds to us. You don’t have to be a prophet of prophetess. He longs to have a personal relationship with us, the Holy Spirit lives within us. I ask Him daily to renew my mind.
When I lived in Colorado I was blessed with my prayer language, speaking in tongues. While praying God allowed me to understand some words and He was interceding to my Poppa, God. I now pray to my Poppa daily. Directly to my Poppa. The veil was rent. Brothers and sisters, there was a shift and that shift allows us to come to God directly. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us, but we can also bless the name of the Lord and set our petitions before Him ourselves. God the Father, God the son, God the Spirit; three in one. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
