Nourishment for Your Spirit, Soul, & Mind: 3/27/25

In today’s passage Jesus teaches us how to pray. The first thing I notice is we pray to our Father which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name, God is God is Holy and worthy of worship. His will is to be done and we see biblical prophecies unfolding right before our eyes. Everything in this prayer is important, do you take every word to heart as you read it? He tells us to give us our daily bread. Do you know the Word of God is bread! It brings strength to our bones and satisfied a spiritual hunger within us. This next one is a big one, forgiveness. Forgiveness is more for you, harboring offenses hurts you and drives a wedge between you and God. Lead us not into temptation, remember how the devil tempted Eve with the apple and everything that that one temptation caused once it was taken? The devil has placed so many temptations around us, that they blend right in. They have become acceptable in the eyes of man while they grieve our Father’s heart. The devil thinks he is in control of this world, but our Lord has all the power, all the glory and the devil’s rein is coming to an end.

As his rein ends, the world grows more and more wicked. Witches practice right out in plain sight. Drugs and prostitution have consumed even the smallest of towns. Abortion is legal. The list is endless and it shows the state of this world as it sets the stage for the return of our Savior. We have false prophets with itchy hands and an agenda to lead people to hell, let’s not forget the devil is known for mimicking the things of God.

Now is the time to take this prayer to heart. Pray it, study every line. Jesus tells to pray to our Father, giving us a direct line to God. As you pray, if you quiet your heart you will hear Him speak back. In this season, He is calling us into deep prayer. Calling us to listen to His voice, study His Word. More and more things in this world will try to drown out God’s voice, to drown out His truths. It is our responsibility to draw close to Him and Allow Him to lead the way, allow Him to be head of our life in every way. 🦅 ~ Chelle, # f8ithgal

“9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” ~ Matthew 6:9-13
