Nourishment for Your Spirit, Soul, & Mind: 3/31/25

I went to a Women’s conference several years ago. Towards the end of the conference, we each picked up a Scripture. My Scripture was 2 Corinthians 5:21. I read that Scripture over and over and I still have the handmade sunflower it was written on today. I still pick it up yo this day and read the verse that was on it.

An ambassador in verse 30 is “a representative of God, tasked with sharing the message of reconciliation and living a life that reflects Christ’s teachings.” We represent Christ. Everything we say and do should be a reflection on Christ. We should draw people into the Kingdom of God with His Spirit that shines from within us.

Jesus came into this world a man, sinless, to take on our sins. It is only through Him that we are made righteousness of God. Righteousness here means, “signifies being in a right relationship with God, characterized by living justly, honestly, and faithfully, and reflecting God’s character in all aspects of life.” What we do and say, how we react matters. It is an honor to represent our Lord and Savior. It should give us cause to reflect on Him and the things we do. Are we bringing glory to His name? It is something to pray about because we are a walking testimony and how we handle what is before us could very well bring others to Christ. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” ~ 2 Corinthians 5:20-21
