Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul April 8, 2025

Today’s final stop in putting on the full armor of God is an important one. It tells us to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. Do you have your personal prayer language? Having this gift is important because the Holy Spirit intercedes through it on our behalf and as we pray the enemy cannot understand what is being said. I posted about the gift of tongues once and someone just leashed out at me saying it was bull (in slightly different words). Today’s verse tells us to pray in the spirit (in tongues). It’s Biblical. If you do not have this gift, pray and ask God. I received it while in Colorado and I’m not sure how I ever lived without it!

Supplication is “a humble and earnest prayer or plea, often used to ask for God’s mercy or help, emphasizing a deep sense of dependence and humility.” It is “the act of earnestly and humbly asking God for specific needs or desires.” Today’s verse instruct us to not only pray for ourselves, but all saints (all believers). There is power in prayer. When we all lift each other up, Heaven is flooded with prayers that renders the enemy powerless. Set aside time for those prayers. They are a crucial part of our armor. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” ~ Ephesians 6:18
