I read today’s passage over and over. Expedient is “(of an action) convenient and practical although possibly improper or immoral.” Just because something is permitted or legal doesn’t mean it’s not improper or immoral. Things may be legal, brought under power or subjected to them. We are no longer bound to legalism. We are free in Christ, but it doesn’t mean doing certain things is not still wrong. In addition, man laws often go directly against things that grieve our Father’s heart. As children of God, we need to draw close to Him. I want to be all in for Jesus. I don’t want to do anything that grieves His Spirit just because I can. More of You Lord and less of me. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
