Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: April 20, 2025

I heard today’s passage while listening to Pastor Donnie Swaggart preach this morning and it stuck in my spirit. Christ came to earth in human form so that He could die the horrible death of crucifixion, descend into hell, and raise again on the third day. That may sound a little far fetched to those who have not had a personal encounter with Him that forever changed their lives, but God loves us so much He sent His only son to do just that. Jesus willingly laid down His life, knowing no sin Himself, so that we could live through Him. No sacrifice could ever compare for the blood He shed for us. He defeated death when He rose from that grave. Children of God will not know the sting of death.

My mind began to travel to those who don’t know Jesus. I thought of all the people who the devil has deceived into not believing in Him, believing lies such as once saved always saved, who he has convinced they have all the time in the world to give their life to God. Know not ye that tomorrow is never promised? Do you know the gate to hell is wide and that to heaven is narrow? God’s Word tell us there will be those that say didn’t I do this in and that in your name and He’ll say depart from me… Can you imagine how they will feel as they enter the gates of hell that they were certain they would never see?

Oh my friends. We are required to examine ourselves daily and repent of any sin done knowingly or unknowingly. We are to suit up in God’s armor and renew our minds daily. Those who are not saved, God is real and hell is hotter than you can ever imagine. Today is the day of salvation because, friend, tomorrow may never come. Reach out to me, I’d love to tell you about my Jesus. I’ll walk you through the steps to salvation and I promise your life will never be the same. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal

“12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then [is] our preaching vain, and your faith [is] also vain.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:12-14
