Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: April 22, 2025

I received a devotional from a friend yesterday that had today’s passage in it. It really spoke to my heart. I looked up the biblical meaning for peacemaker. According to AI overview it is, “someone who actively seeks to reconcile and restore harmony, both with God and with others.” I sat and reflected on this for a bit. The world is full of conflict, that is to be expected, we are living in the end days. Sadly, we have friends today causing conflict between other friends. Delving deeper, we need to look at the conflict within the church. There is a tale bearing spirit operating strong and causing division everywhere.

In the church, you might say? Especially in the church. The devil is out to destroy anything even related to peace. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He comes to bring division in the body of Christ. Today’s passage says, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” We have to guard our tongue and watch the venom that spews from it. Is it encouraging? Does it edify? Does it bring peace or division? We will be accountable for every word that comes out of our mouth. Be extra careful you are not speaking work curses over people instead of life. It is something we all should give some serious thought to. It’s not too late to repent and start speaking life over those we encounter. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal
