Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: May 9, 2025

Gideon met Jehovah Shalom, The Lord is Peace, that day he was found on the threshing floor. The Lord addressed his fear and promised victory, “…thou shalt not die.” This was such a timely verse for me. The black mold I had lived in for almost 5 months threatened to take me life. Through the blood of the lamb and the stripes He endured, I was taken from that place and healing is my portion!

The higher your calling, the higher ranked demons you will encounter. My rent was raised significantly. He tried to portray he was helping, but in reality very little grace was given considering it was his rental that almost killed me. But God! He began to remind me to stop the fear and worry. First, my mom told me yesterday to stop fear and worrying, God knows my needs and will provide. Second, in last nights program Apostle Faith gave a prophecy that spoke directly into my situation of fear and worry. She had no idea what I was going through, God gave her that prophecy and it was confirmation. Daughter, stop the worry. Stop trying to figure it out in your head. I the Lord your God is in control even when your physical eyes cannot see it. Look closer with your spiritual eyes. Lean into me and watch me work in your favor. Finally, God had me continue to read about Gideon because He had a word for me there. “Peace be unto thee; fear not, thou shalt not die.”

Wow. Look at God. I am really struggling to get over the attack on my body from the black mold. By the end of my work day, I am exhausted. Yesterday I was running a fever again. I am slowly unpacking because I easily tire. Help me Poppa. God used today’s passage to remind me I will not die, but it went deeper into my heart and addressed the fear trying to hide there. “Peace be unto thee; fear not. Fear was rooted out and the precious peace of God took its place!

Are you filled with worry and fear? Is anxiety trying to take control? Lean into God and decree today’s Scripture over yourself. Say peace be unto me, I will not fear, and I shall not die in the name of Jesus I decree this over myself and my life! Write it on a post-it (or a note card or paper) or even several and place them all throughout your home so you are constantly reading it, allowing it to sink in and flip your way of thinking. Jehovah Shalom is covering you with His precious peace, give Him all praise and glory for what He’s doing in your life! 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal

“23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace [be] unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. 24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it [is] yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.” ~ Judges 6:23-24
