Today’s passage is known to be the shortest in the Bible. However, those two words are so powerful. “Jesus wept”~ John 11:35 Jesus knew He could raise Lazarus from the dead, yet He still wept as compassion for Mary and Martha overtook Him. Saturday I was listening to a long story and as I listened to it my heart just began to break and tears began to form in my eyes. . Poppa, I don’t want to hear anymore, but I did.
I am constantly asking God to mature my emotions. What God has shown me, is my heart mirrors His. When He is grieved, my heart is grieved as well. When I find something profoundly sad, I can feel it has hurt God too. I am learning to lay those things at the foot of the cross. I can’t carry everyone”s burdens and move forward. I have to release them to God and pray as He leads.
It is. Good tine time to renew your mind. Are you carrying burdens you weren’t meant to carry? Lay them at the cross and allow Him to come to life in their lives. You keep praying and lifting them up. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Mibcelle
